Optimising all the images in the site this ensures page download is not affected unduly by Having HUGE images.
We do the second of these by regularly running WP Smush.it across all the images in the site.
WP Smush.it is a free plugin for WordPress. The plugin is integrated with your WordPress website and with the Yahoo Smush.it service, together they work to ensure that any photos and other images within your website are as small as possible. (file size)
- Add Plugins from search box on the right hand side and Click “Install Now“
- And Click ‘Activate Plugin’
- Go to ‘Media’ to see your upload media – it is here you can condense individual media files, or click ‘Bulk Smush.It’ to do them all.
- Read the information on the Bulk Smush.
- And click ” Bulk Smush all my images“
